Ben Bernanke teaches at Jacksonville University


Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, came to Jacksonville University on November 5, 2010 to be a guest lecturer in the Money and Banking course. He spent most of the time answering questions from students. The 45-minute video of the class is available from C-SPAN.

Road projects' disappointing effect on jobs

Blackledge report that recent road construction and maintenance projects have not generated the jobs many expected. WASHINGTON – Ten months into President Barack Obama's first economic stimulus plan, a surge in spending on roads and bridges has had no effect on local unemployment and only barely helped the beleaguered construction industry, an Associated Press analysis has found.
